Mast Maja Maadi is a full length laugh riot thanks to a tailor made script with senseless, slapstick sequences which are bound to make the audience laugh.
Let us talk about the plus points of the film first. Mast Maja Maadi turns out to be a sure entertainer mainly because of Vijaya Raghavendra and Komal’s brilliant comedy timing, Jennifer’s glamour quotient and two fantastic song picturisations.
As earlier said Vijaya Raghavendra and Komal rock in their respective roles. Nag Kiran and Diganth have acted well, but it is the first two who takes the shining glory. Credit is also due to Jennifer who shines in the song sequences. Needless to say that Rangayana Raghu over acts again. There are many number of actors who appear in just one scene, but however make you laugh.
Mast Maja Maadi is a fun film, it is much better than the present crop of films that are seen in recent days

Comedy of errors ,toungue twisters , a homage to a great talented personality Shankar Nag , a dream that is being fulfilled and finally a comedy show . Can anyone imagine if 6 theatre personalities flown from ‘Ranga Shankara’ ,Bangalore to perform this hit Comedy of more than 50 Hit shows right at your door step ?
Let me sum up on the funniest ever drama that S Surendranath (Suri) of Sanket, has adapted this hilarious comedy of errors but heartwarming tale into “Nee Naanadare Naa Neenena” .
Suri, one of the founder members of Sanket (along with late Shankar and Arundhati Nag), has made a unique mark for himself as a fine writer and director.
Suri puts his uncanny aptitude at adaptation into full use while bringing this to Atlanta, more precisely IACA temple on May 03,Sunday. What the audiences are presented with is a bouquet of flowers? Colourful, fragrant, wild, unusual, like the spring in Georgia While you will laugh heartily during the play, you will happily let it tug at your heart on your drive back home and later.
The Hindu writes on 06/18/2006….
“In this rollicking comedy, there are liberal doses of references to pulp fiction, old film songs and poetry. And the experience is enhanced by the presence of talented actors. Film-maker M.S. Sathyu has designed the sets and lighting while music is by V. Manohar. The cast includes some popular names of the small screen. Mr. Surendranath has co-directed most of Sanket’s productions including “Nodi Swamy Naavirodu Heege,” “Naga Mandala,” “Hulagooru Huliyavva,” “Janateya Shatru,” “27 Mavalli Circle,” “Hasirele Hannele and so on”
